Physician Biography
Edward L. Rachofsky, MD, FACC came to the Somerset medical community in 2009 and joined Medicor Cardiology in 2014. He completed Interventional Cardiology Fellowship and Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowships at New York University Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Rachofsky completed his Internal Medicine Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, New York Weill Cornell Campus, where he was Assistant Chief Resident. He holds a M.D. degree and a Ph. D. degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and was presented with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Doctoral Dissertation Award. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Currently Dr. Rachofsky is a member of the medical staff at Morristown Medical Center and at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerset and New Brunswick. In his free time, he enjoys travel, skiing, and spending time with his wife and three children.
