Dr. Kulkarni Receives Woman of Distinction Award

The American Heart Association Garden State Go Red for Women Luncheon was held in Princeton. With over 200 people in attendance, the event was a huge success!

Dr. Rachana Kulkarni is on the executive leadership team for the event planning and Michele Mozingo, Medicor's Practice Administrator, served on the silent auction committee. We were proud to represent our practice as an event sponsor.

Of special note, Dr. Kulkarni received the Woman of Distinction award! A Woman of Distinction award is presented to individuals who:

Raise awareness of cardiovascular health among women,

Empower women with resources,

Improve the health of the community or make a difference in the lives of women,

Raise funds to support awareness, education or research for women,

Advance women’s issues in the Garden State, and

Demonstrate a commitment to Go Red!

This is a huge honor for her personally but as well as for Medicor to be recognized for our work in the community to raise awareness about heart disease and stroke in women. Great job, Dr. Kulkarni!
