Inferolateral Myocardial Infarction

An example of an inferolateral myocardial infarction. There is a defect in the inferior and lateral walls (from 3 o'clock to 6 o'clock in the short axis slices) which appears in both the stress and rest images. The patient is a 54 year old female with a history of an inferolateral myocardial infarction in 1993. At last catheterization, she had a 100% occlusion of the mid circumflex artery (explaining the defect seen above) and a 60% lesion in a diagonal artery.
